Protective Headgear

Protective headgear is only effective when it is actually on your head. That is why we have engineered a hat that not only helps protect your head, but looks good, too. Notice that both boys in the picture are wearing a stylish hat. You can hardly tell that the blue hat above has protective inserts within it!

Hat with Protective Inserts

Removable Protective Inserts

The hat is 100% Acrylic. It not only looks good, but offers protection from the elements. The protective inserts are designed to be easily removed and re-inserted. It's a cool hat to wear with, or without, the protective inserts.

Hat that protects your head against impact.

Impact-Resistant Hat

Add the protective inserts to help protect your head against impact. The outer layer of the inserts are composed of an extremely strong polycarbonate plastic, the same material used to make bulletproof glass. The inner layers are composed of neoprene rubber, the same skin friendly material used in making wet suits. The inner layer of neoprene rubber has trapped air in the rubber itself, and the larger air chambers. These air chambers help cushion the impact, and help spread the force of the impact over the entire protective insert.

Alternative to Helmets

The Crasche hat is ideal for children and adults who should wear a helmet, but don't.

It is not designed to replace a helmet, but it is certainly a whole lot better than nothing on your head. For best results, wear the protective sports hat with the front of it covering your forehead, resting just above the eyebrow.
