Ten years ago, I took a nasty spill while cycling. Luckily, I landed on the grass. I knew then it was time to get a helmet. But I never did.
Instead, I decided to create a hat that would offer a lot of impact protection, but would have enough style that people like me would wear it. That was the start of the Crasche hat.
It took years to perfect the proper style and fit and to engineer the impact-resistant combination of materials.
It can be used while skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, biking, hiking, skateboarding, rollerblading and for other sports where players don’t currently wear helmets, such as girls lacrosse, girls field hockey and touch football. It can also be used in a non-sports environment, where protective headgear is important, but a helmet is not suitable, such as in law enforcement or by the military.
It’s washable, and the protective inserts are designed to be easily removed and re-inserted. It’s a cool hat to wear, with or without the protective inserts.
Crasche is now a family business and the protective hats are made here in America.
Give it a try and return it if you are not fully satisfied.
Sincerely,
Robert Emmett
