Crasche® New York has announced that it will be one of the exhibitors at this year’s Officer World Expo on May 13-14 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C. The company will present the Crasche hat that can be used as protective headgear for law enforcement.
The Crasche hat is 100% Acrylic. The outer layers of the inserts are composed of a strong polycarbonate plastic, the same material used to make bulletproof glass. The inner layers are made of neoprene rubber, which is also used in the making of wet suits, and contain a series of air chambers that help cushion the impact and help spread the force of the impact over the entire insert.
It can also be used by those who are in law enforcement for situations where head protection is necessary, but a helmet is not. A recent incident in which a New York City police officer was stabbed in the head responding to a domestic dispute highlights the importance of head protection for patrolmen who are on the beat.
“The Crasche hat provides the impact protection that every police officer needs while they patrol their sectors,” said Robert Emmett, designer of the Crasche hat. “We encourage all law enforcement officials, decision makers and exhibit attendees to stop by our booth to learn about our product.”
Crasche hats can be worn with or without the protective inserts. In addition, all Crasche hats are made in the United States in the state of New York.
