Designed specifically for curling. The Winter Knit Curler has two thick protective elements in the rear of the hat, and 2 protective elements in the front. The protective elements are 3.5 inches high, and do not cover the top of the head. The top of the head is open, to keep the players comfortable.
Size: 21.5" to 23+" circumference.
Materials: The hat is 100% Acrylic. The outer layer of the inserts are composed of an extremely strong polycarbonate plastic, the same material used to make bullet-proof glass. The inner layers are composed of neoprene rubber, the same skin-friendly material used in making wet suits. The inner layer of neoprene rubber has a series of air chamber. These air chambers help cushion the impact, and help spread the force of the impact over the entire insert.
Cleaning: Machine wash, air dry, or low dry. Take the inserts out prior to washing.
