" Type offers far more impact protection than the standard bump cap. No visor allows for work in confined areas. The "" Type is not designed to replace a helmet. It is designed for workmen who wear a bump cap or who do not wear any head protection at all.
Size:
Size Med/Large - 21.5" to 24" circumference.
Size XL - 24"+ circumference.
Materials: The Summer Knit is composed of super light weight cotton-like acrylic fabric. The Winter Knit is composed of a wool-like acrylic fabric. The outer layer of the inserts is composed of an extremely strong polycarbonate plastic, the same material used to make bullet-proof glass. The inner layers are composed of neoprene rubber, the same skin-friendly material used in making wet suits. The inner layer of neoprene rubber has a series of air chambers. These air chambers help cushion the impact, and help spread the force of the impact over the entire insert.
Cleaning: Machine wash, air dry, or low dry. Take the inserts out prior to washing.
